ty~! This was actually my first time playing Gen 4 properly although I wasn't entirely spoiler-free going in. (I think up until I played through Black in '16/'17 the only game I'd actually played through fully was Ruby, partly b.c. I have a short attention span and partly b.c. my older brother was a HUGE GAME HOG.)
prior to this my main involvement in pokemon stuff was occasionally roleplaying as pokemon gijinkas on gaia online as a teenager because of course it was. (i still need to properly draw my nosepass character.)
my main thought on all the npcs tbh is that they are WEIRD NERDS but that is just de rigeur for pokemon characters.
