Looking over his bibliography it looks like the only non-Book of Three writing of his I've ever read is a picture book called The King's Fountain (which I remember being quite lovely though I haven't reread it in a while). But yeah, The Book of Three is pretty good! I don't know what the rest of the series is like but the first book is a breezy read and in a similar vein to The Hobbit- or at least, one could very easily picture characters from Prydain and from Middle Earth hanging out.
(On a side note I think Fflewddur Fflam is my favorite of the adventuring party, despite the fact I can never get his dang name right.)
I remember hearing a lot about Ms. Marvel around when it was coming out but despite the fact it's apparently still ongoing (or at least, the collections are) and well-reviewed I have not heard as much since! Or maybe I just mostly stopped following comic book people as much.
My library fortunately has a pretty good collection of graphic novels, so while I don't think they have all ten of the current volumes I'll probably be able to get a good chunk of the way into the series if I don't get sidetracked.
